Back

After using Tumblr for a while, i've decided to come back to Blogspot for a while. While my music and movie blogs are still there (and i will still update them), I decided i need a place to vent, think, and speak. Ergo, i have returned here. Let's begin.

1) Today i read that MTV is changing it's logo for the first time in it's existence. Not a big deal right? Well the most notable change is the fact that it dropped the "Music Television" part of said logo. As if we didn't know this already. The last time there was actual music on MTV was in the 90s. It's not like everyone didn't know this already, but since they are dropping it, what will MTV stand for? Moronic Television? Because that is what it is.

2) It seems that (most of the time) Alumni are the worst spectators at sporting events. The students typically show a great deal of respect, yet the adults don't know when to keep their damn mouths shut. And they say that our generation is bad.

3) I bought "Heavy Rain" yesterday. I beat it today. If you have a PS3 i would recommend buying it. It's that good. It's a murder mystery with a ridiculous amount of suspense and multiple ways for it to end. The thing is, it's more like playing a movie than a game. It's one of the most engrossing stories that i have ever seen in a game. Totally trumps "Indigo Prophecy", which had too many gameplay flaws and story issues (especially at the end. The internet is one of the bad guys and takes the form of green digital bugs?? WTF?).

4) I find it funny that i really want to work out but am too lazy to walk to the rec. O the irony... and laziness...

5) I don't really agree with the methodology of college profs sometimes. If a majority of students have no prior experience in something (i.e. programming), don't shove them into the flames when it really isn't super applicable to their major. (C++ is a bitch.)

6) Had a very interesting discussion about churches today. Mainly over being a member of a church v. just attending. A lot of it had to do with my personal beefs with the SBC. Not a fan of the southern baptists. It's like a cult or something. (Ok that's harsh.)
